Law of Attraction- ‘If you can See it – you can Have it!’

Law of attraction for jobseekers

This is the second part of a series of articles aimed towards helping you realize your dream using basic techniques of LoA.  You can view the first part here.

To the second part we go…

And, you can see it vividly in your imagination,

if you have taken the time to ask yourself

              and answer yourself  about

  1. i) what you desire most
  2. ii) what you believe most

iii) and how you create, most of the time

Question number One

Do you know your own ‘personal preferences’ about the types of  creative-work, or work-mates or work-places which would most satisfy you?

Question number Two

Do you know your own ‘market beliefs’ about how you perceive the job environment – an attitude that either expands your view of the vacancies available, or limits your awareness of the apparent openings?

Question number Three

Do you know your own ‘creative habits’ in relation to your action-based searching as opposed to your inspiration-based impulses as you follow leads?

(Here is an example of unhelpful and helpful approaches according to Law of Attraction principles)

Q – One (personal preferences)

Unhelpful – Work is just work; the people I work with follow their own agenda; an office is 4 walls closing me in

Helpful – Actually I enjoy working alone sometimes so that I can focus on the best way to do things and people appreciate this about me; And also I’m good at dealing with people directly because I have a warm personality, and it feels great to work together and find solutions and learn from one another; Also there are really nice work-spaces these days which have natural lighting and lots of plants and color which stimulate our senses and creative flow throughout our time together

Q – Two (market beliefs)

Unhelpful – The world economy is becoming worse; Most jobs are found through the internet which receives far too many applicants so most of the best jobs are already taken; There are not many employers who are looking for my particular skills or opinions

Helpful – At any given time in the world there are successful entrepreneurs and companies which are striving due to their ongoing positive outlook; There are always multiple ways to connect with a job through the right people at the right time; And there are insightful managers out there who are looking for open-minded people who know how to welcome and capitalize on opportunities

Q- Three (creative habits)

Unhelpful – If I can’t find something at first I just keep trying harder; I try to send out as many copies as I can daily of my same resume; I search and search until I have seen every job ad online or in my city

Helpful – As soon as I feel myself ‘efforting’ too much at any one activity, I know I can ‘pivot’ and turn to a relaxing stance which recharges my batteries and my enthusiasm for life in general; I only pursue those particular jobs or companies toward which I feel a strong positive reaction; I know that many leads come naturally, so I am always open to influences throughout my day for any information source to become open to me via any channel

And you can see here

that these distinct aspects of our job search outlook

do play on one another

If one perspective is negative

it will certainly pull them down the rest

of our process

Therefore, it is essential that we are aware our desires, our beliefs and our creative habits, so that we can dispense with the unneeded, the unhelpful; and instead, nurture that which we most want and deserve.
